I had to frequently travel by myself from an early age, spending a lot of time in planes, and for as long as I can remember I've always felt a sense of relief while being in the air. Observing the world from a plane window from which everything seems so little and insignificant really makes you put things into perspective. You have time to think, reflect, read, time that you would not necessarily give yourself in the day to day life. It is also the stage of all kind of emotions: excitement, fear, anger, calm, sadness, joy - depending of the persona and their journey.
'In the air' is an ongoing series exploring that particular moment of suspended time.
